These sculptures show the beauty of digital tools and algorithms, which are rarely given the attention they deserve, forgotten when the finished product is achieved.When an image
(in this case, a font) is processed in Photoshop, the programme processes it according to the demand it is given, such as shrinking a letter down to only a few pixels, by using specific algorithms.
Therefore, I made these two sculptures as an interpretation of the Photoshopped letters. The letters used are the ‘G’ and ‘W’ from the typeface, Garamond and each block of wood represents a pixel
